The seafood platter had a good variety and was displayed nicely with plenty of bread and crackers to go with everything. We went back outside, double checked, went back in, and said we wanted food, and they showed us to the back.

This place was okay for a quick bite but definitely nothing special.

23rd BIRTHDAY And just like that The Front Door Pub Galway is 23... years old! I'm dying to know if it is good or not. Is Martin the reason why we are giving this place 5 stars? The food was good but the wait staff had no idea what the salad dressing options were. So we sauntered into City Centre to try to find a place to eat.My boyfriend and I loved this place during our visit in Galway! It has now firmly established itself as a favourite amongst beer enthusiasts. I like peas so I liked them. You’ve found the perfect venue!

There was a rowdy crowd in the bar area, watching a football (soccer) game, but it was entertaining, not distracting or bothersome.Though touristy too, I had a great time here.

Had to sit at bar - or wait 45 mins for table. Fish and chips, paninis, and apple crumble!
The place seemed like it would be really cool to come back to for dinner or drinks if we were in Galway longer.We stumbled on this gem during our bar crawl. So, we went with the whisky tasting. I got the gnocchi and my sister got the seafood platter. The atmosphere was very cozy and intimate.

We can host a range of events with reserved areas, party food, set menu, late bars, bands and DJ! My friend was super hungry and Siobhan gave her some crisps before the meal because she's a sweetheart. The Front Door was a great place to go for traditional Irish pub atmosphere!

Service overall was good, could have been a little more attentive. And that was it!Stumbled upon this place while looking for something to eat at our two hour stop in Galway during a tour to the Cliffs. We went to Sonny's because my wife is GF and there was a Front Door menu outside that said their fish & chips is GF, and she hasn't had fish & chips in a long time. Prices seemed pretty high for what they offered. Wow wow wowAstounding!

Our food was hot and delicious and the prices were reasonable.
