Now, CRC Health Group, which is owned by Bain Capital, is reportedly assembling an empire of nationwide methadone clinics, what with heroin use being on the rise and all. Most of the clinics were established with public money starting in the 1970s when an earlier heroin epidemic ravaged major urban centers.
