Though I have a question. The espresso does not.

It makes some noise that starts to dial down and stops without any espresso coming out of the filter holder.Took off the filter holder and saw that the water was coming out fine. Behind it was the conical spring, it fell out. It's not a pod one just the fresh coffee in the filter. If there is no espresso coming out of the machine, it is the result of either a lack of water in the reservoir, or a clogged pump. It is the first time I'm trying the machine, but with already grinded coffee and no coffee is coming out. Unscrewed the top, there is rusting and minor calcification, but it is mostly around the steamer knob on top of the stainless steel. It should give - this is what lets the coffee out of the holder and maintains the pressure to give a good crema. Yes my delonghi expresso machine is not pushing the water through the coffee. Removed all parts in the coffee section, the spring had no ball inside. Resist the temptation to toss the machine, bring it back to the shop or call for service. Do not tamp coffee after pouring it into the filter basket. I've run through descaler twice after the first time it was ok.

If you've done all of this and the issue persists then you probably having a failing pump; very common in this model as well as most other Delonghi semi-automatics.If it is a failing pump, is that replaceable or worth replacing (cost & service of new pump)?I clean the filter, the boiler as indicated in the manual.

The 2nd issue I had was the screen on the portafilter was completely blocked so when I added the portafilter, nothing was coming out still.To clear this, you need to burn the blockage away. Second, this can cause excess pressure in the filter basket and a leak.Please, verify that the water tank is placed properly. Within a week or so it's stopped pushing water through the coffee filter. So the problem was with the double shot filter.A couple grains of coffee were stuck in the tiny hole on the bottom of the double shot filter. If your coffee machine was supplied with pins, use them. It'll be my next step but I would like to have your advice on this. Therefore, if you load your coffee maker with fine ground coffee, check these elements at least once a week.
