Have had a photo of the mill on the wall for many years and finally got to see it. Crystal Mill, Colorado, is a historic landmark and one of the most photogenic places we've ever experienced. Back in 2009 we drove part of the road then parked and finished the 4 miles by foot.

It is reachable only in the summer and fall months by a rough, one-lane, 4-wheel-drive road.
