I had purchased a Groupon and decided to give Carilley Estate a try for lunch with my family. We were both blown away by the quality of food, friendly service and fantastic sites. I received notice from Groupon that Penny Gardens had moved to Carilley Estate, Herne Hill so booked our lunch for today 18 July. Both meals were presented beautifully and tasted amazing. may be too late but I was very disappointed in tbem for our recent wedding event Staff were fantastic!

We ate inside but ventured outside afterwards to enjoy another drink and take in the beautiful views and surrounds as it was such a lovely sunny day outside.

For our breakfast we had a table outside with a nice view on the vineyard, it was quiet but service was great and food good. Sitting outside in the sun with a cold drink, what a way to spend an afternoon.

Now, the wine... Sauvignon Blanc was excellent. A like it or lump it attitude. Date of visit: November 2019. I had my birthday at the Estate for a beautiful Sunday lunch. It's a shame the food let it down. All staff were courteous and helpful, service was quick and the food was amazing. I can say with certainly we shall be back to dine here again.
