The beef carpaccio was well presented but ended up being our least favorite dish as it was rather bland. Service was spotty, had to ask twice for bread and beverage refill. Hangar steak, filet, brusselsprouts, sour cream mashed potatoes, all done to perfection. That being said, we spent over $300 before tip, so expected more. We sat outside. As a courtesy to our staff members, Salt & Char will be closed for takeout on Easter Sunday.We dined there last night and were disappointed. SALT is located at the heart of Boulder’s Pearl Street. The place were busy when we arrived at 7:30pm Friday evening. It is so tender and so flavorful without the sauce which is exactly what it should be. I was blown away by this place. The fries were also well seasoned and crispy. $40.00 for three course meal.
